The Heart of the Matter? - the tags themselves
In this blog we aim to compile a literary Who is Who in case you wanted to know how often Nabokov is mentioned in other works of literature or which contemporary author breathed new life into Odysseus' wife (hint: check the tags Nabokov and Homérosz -sorry about that, that's Hungarian for Homer)
We would love to make it usable for scientific purposes - with your help and dedication we will read all the fiction in the world.
The method:
1. read a book and make notes on literary references, allusions etc.; popular culture, music references are also welcome.
2. put the author and title in the entry title line. you can add a jacket photo if you want, put review links in the body of the entry, or list the pages where you found the references. Please put cultural notes in the body only.
3. The most important: put all referred authors in the tag line. (if Lolita is mentioned in another book, put Nabokov in the tag line ['címke'])
Comments, if not related to the book are welcome in the designated entry.
